This organization are a designer and manufacturer of products supplied internationally. A global organization with multiple locations, they are undergoing a period of massive growth and change and now require a Buyer to join the growing purchasing department.
In this role you responsible for both direct and indirect sourcing of components, materials, assemblies both locally and internationally from OEMs. You will be involved in the negotiation of costs, while looking to maintain the quality of products sourced to ensure production can be delivered on time.
You will have experience in either procurement or purchasing from a manufacturing environment and knowledge of ERP/MRP.

The Role:
*Responsible for both direct and indirect spend
*Sourcing assemblies, components, materials and commodities both locally and internationally
*Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to ensure best prices and quality
*Work with internal teams to ensure production has the correct materials to achieve production
The Person:
*Come from a procurement or purchasing background
*Have worked in a manufacturing or engineering environment
*Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
