This company is a world leader in the manufacturing of a range of products that are supplied into markets worldwide. With continued expansion at their North American locations, they are looking to strengthen their procurement function with an additional Category Manager.
In this role you will take responsibility for the purchasing of all raw materials for a range of locations across the US. You will be negotiating supplier contracts, managing vendor performance, and developing purchasing strategies in collaboration with operations, logistics, and R&D teams.
The ideal candidate will be either a Category Manager or a Buyer looking to take a step up into this role. You will have experience in buying raw materials such as chemicals, powders, polymers or similar.

The role:
- Responsible for vendor and supplier management across raw materials
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies across a range of suppliers
- Negotiate contracts, manage performance and cost

- Category Manager or Buyer looking to progress
- Experience of buying raw materials such as chemicals, powders, polymers etc.
- Ideally hold a Degree
