Civil Engineer / Project Lead - Land Development

$100,000 - $130,000 CAD + Bonus + Health & Dental + RRSP + PTO + Benefits
Are you an experienced civil engineer with a background in subdivision design and land development projects, looking to take on greater responsibility in project delivery and client management?
This is a key opportunity to join a well-regarded consulting firm where you'll manage projects from concept through to completion. You'll have day-to-day responsibility for technical oversight, client coordination, and mentoring junior engineers - all within a supportive and flexible work environment.
Our client is an established and growing civil engineering firm with a strong presence in Ontario's land development sector. Their work includes subdivision design, site servicing, grading, and stormwater management for residential and mixed-use developments. With a solid pipeline of projects and a focus on quality and collaboration, they are looking to bring in a project lead who can contribute to both project execution and client success.
This position is well suited to someone who has hands-on technical experience in subdivision projects and is confident working with clients, municipal stakeholders, and internal design teams. You'll report to an Engineering Lead and take full ownership of your projects with autonomy and support where needed.
The Role:
* Lead end-to-end project delivery for subdivision land development projects across Ontario
* Collaborate directly with clients and municipalities from proposal stage to project close-out
* Oversee technical design, coordinate internal teams, and review/stamp engineering drawings
The Person:
* Licensed P.Eng or L.E.T. in Ontario (or on track within 6 months)
* Minimum 4 years' experience in land development consulting, ideally in Ontario subdivisions
* Proficient in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, with strong communication and project management skills
