New Haven, CT (Commutable from: West Haven, East Haven, Hamden, Branford, Milford, North Haven)

Are you a Superintendent with a background in heavy civil construction, looking for a role that offers structured career progression and hands-on training with advanced technologies?


On Offer is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established construction company with ambitious growth plans. In this role, you'll take a technical lead on high-profile projects for well-known businesses that have national reputations.

This company specializes in heavy civil excavation projects across a variety of industries. They are seeking a Superintendent with experience in managing worksites, materials, and health and safety standards, with clear opportunities to progress into Project Manager positions.

In this role you will travel to different sites across Connecticut, working closely with experienced Project Managers to achieve project goals. You'll also gain hands-on experience with advanced technology and equipment, which the company has invested in to support its expansion into new sectors.

This role would suit a Superintendent from a heavy civil construction background who is ambitious, driven, and looking to grow their career with a company aiming to double its size in the coming years.

The Role:

  • Travel to and supervise heavy civil excavation projects across Connecticut.
  • Maintain daily project activity reports documenting progress, issues, and resource use.
  • Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and meets quality standards.


The Person:

  • Experienced Superintendent in heavy civil construction.
  • Familiar with large-scale excavation projects.
  • Willing to use technology, with training provided if needed.
