Office based, commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Tewksbury and surrounding areas
Are you a Machining Engineer with CNC and/or Manual machining experience who is aspiring to move into a Lecturer and Trainer position, where you will be heavily invested in through AET, IQA and CPD qualifications, while having full autonomy over your course delivery and clear long-term career progression to become a recognised specialist shaping future machinists?
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to transition into engineering training, where you will receive full teacher training, develop into a recognised training specialist, and play a key role in developing the next generation of manufacturing and machining engineers.
This organisation is a recognised expert in engineering training, with circa 50 employees and nearly 50 years of success. They are widely regarded as the go-to training provider in the South West.
This role would suit a CNC or Manual Machining Engineer looking to step away from hands-on shopfloor work and into a rewarding training and lecturing position within the manufacturing sector.
The Role:
*Supporting, developing and training aspiring Machining Engineers at Level 3 and Level 4 (Apprenticeship and above)
*Delivering training in CNC machining, manual machining, and related manufacturing principles
*Working closely with Tutor and Lecturing teams to support learner progression
*Full teacher training provided to become fully qualified
The Person:
*Background in CNC machining and/or Manual machining (milling, turning, grinding or similar)
*Experience within manufacturing, engineering or precision machining environments
*Looking to move into a teaching, training or lecturing role
