Compliance Officer
St Neots - ONSITE
£35,000 - £40,000 + 26 Days Annual Leave (+ Bank Hols) + Bonus + 7.5% Pension + Great Company Culture
This is an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Officer with experience in the insurance industry looking to join a well-established company in a role offering excellent benefits and the opportunity to progress your skillset.
This reputable company have been established for over 50 years in the insurance industry and are regarded as specialists in their field. Through growth and expansion, they are looking to recruit a Compliance Officer.
In this varied role you will be responsible for all matters of compliance, whilst working with the Operations Manager to ensure that compliance standards and policies are maintained. You will be supporting the Operations Manager when advising the board and wider business on compliance and regulatory matters. You will identify opportunities and solutions, whilst managing relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring that second line of defence audits are met within the TCF guidelines.
The ideal candidate will have strong compliance experience from the insurance industry. You will have good understanding of general insurance regulatory requirements and will have a strong delivery focus.

The Role:
*Support the Operations Manager with drafting and finalising compliance manuals, policies and procedures before deploying these into the business
*Completing second line of defence audits ensuring that standards are met in line with TCF guidelines and prepare internal reports on audit outcomes
*Completing Root Cause Analysis on complains to identify issues and areas of improvement
*Carry out investigations and resolve complains following FCA guidelines
*Communicating well and helping to retain business with key stakeholders

The Person:
*Experience from a compliance background in an insurance or FCA regulated environment
*Strong experience of compliance and a strong understanding of/the ability to interpret regulations and their use within the business
*Good communication skills
*Lives commutable to St Neots
