Construction Foreman
San Diego / Tijuana (Initial 6 Months On-Site in Tijuana)
$80,000 - $100,000 + Full & Generous Benefits Package

Do you want to play a key role in getting a new modular manufacturing facility up to speed by teaching teams how homes are built correctly, safely, and to California code?
On offer is the chance to join a forward-thinking modular construction company at a pivotal stage of growth. You'll play a critical role in the setup of a new factory in Tijuana, with long-term progression and executive exposure as the business scales.
This company is seeking a hands-on Factory Foreman to lead the construction knowledge transfer required to launch a new modular manufacturing operation. You'll be responsible for teaching building methods, interpreting plans and codes, and ensuring homes are produced correctly from the ground up.
The role will require significant time in Tijuana during the first 6 months, working closely with senior leadership, engineers, and operations teams to establish correct build processes and raise standards across the factory.
The Role:
- Lead the setup and readiness of a new modular manufacturing facility from a construction delivery perspective
- Teach the full ground-up house build process, from structure through to finishes
- Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and building codes
- Ensure all homes are built to California building standards and compliance
- Train and mentor factory teams on correct building methods and sequencing
- Identify issues in build quality or process and implement practical solutions
- Report progress, risks, and improvements to senior leadership
The Person:
- Experienced Foreman / Superintendent with strong ground-up construction background
- Deep understanding of residential building codes and construction drawings
- Strong knowledge of all core building trades and construction sequencing
- Confident teaching others how homes are built correctly and efficiently
- Hands-on, practical leader who leads by example
- Willing and able to spend extended periods in Tijuana during the initial 6-month setup phase
