Resident Engineer / Senior Construction Inspector
Tallahassee, Florida

You will be based on-site in Florida, overseeing day-to-day construction activities. This includes inspecting work, ensuring it meets project plans and quality standards, and coordinating with contractors, engineers, and other project staff. You will also keep accurate records of inspections, progress, and any issues that arise.
This role will suit a Resident Engineer or Senior Construction Inspector seeking a long-term assignment on a high-profile airfield project.
The Role:
*Track, monitor, and report on all phases of construction
*Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and FAA standards
*Review plans and specifications for accuracy and regulatory compliance
The Person:
*Degree or equivalent in construction, engineering, or related field
*Experience in airfield construction inspection, including taxiways/runways
*Knowledge of FAA specifications, P-401 pavement testing, and airfield electrical systems
*Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job site
