An exciting role is on offer for a Construction Manager looking to join a growing multi-disciplinary family-run company that offers fantastic progression opportunities and exciting projects.

They are now looking to recruit a Construction Manager to bolster their team and support the next phase of growth.

In this role, you will oversee several projects and their respective Site Managers. You will be responsible for developing project plans including timelines, resources, budgets and risk assessments. This role will require effective communication between internal stakeholders, clients, and sub-contract resources to ensure successful project delivery. You will be split between office and site-based work, with a requirement to travel.

The ideal candidate for this role will have solid project/contracts management experience within commercial, industrial, rail, or utility projects. You will enjoy working in a close-knit environment with a desire to play an integral part in the business's success.

The Role

  • You will be responsible for developing project plans including timelines, resources, budgets and risk assessments.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage all on-site construction staff
  • Ensure all projects are compliant with health and safety legislation and in line with the company's ISO accreditations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure they are well informed on the progress of the project
  • Sites mostly based in the Northwest, with travel and staying away expected at times


The Person:

  • Construction/Project Manager, with experience in commercial, industrial, rail, or utility projects
  • Can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • A willingness to travel and stay away when required
