Data Engineer (Google Cloud Platform)
Houston - Texas (Hybrid)
$90,000 - $110,000 + 401k + PTO + Healthcare + Dental + Equity + Bonuses
Are you a Data Engineer with experience in GCP looking to work for an exciting start-up company who offer excellent hands on training and structured progression?

My client are an exciting data intelligence start-up leveraging AI satellites to monitor, analyse and deliver intelligence data to customers in asset management, renewable energy, defense and military sectors.
In this position you will develop processing pipelines for remote sensing and geospatial data streams in Google Cloud. You will also write data ingestion and processing Python based programs for application backend cloud microservices. Lastly you will help optimize application performance and scalability under heavy load conditions.

The Person:
*Experience with Python, SQL, Kafka, Flake or Hadoop
*Experience with Google Cloud Platform
*Experience with Tableau and Power BI
*US citizen
The role:
*Perform data analysis on small and large data sources
*Design, construct, install and test data management systems.
*Work with analysts, scientist and senior staff to develop analysis automation tools.
