You will be responsible for working closely with the Head of DevOps as their technical right-hand, helping to modernize and evolve a large-scale AWS environment. You will have the autonomy to make improvements, influence architecture decisions, and take a holistic, end-to-end view of DevOps across infrastructure, automation, security, and reliability. Technologies will include AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, Windows & Linux environments, and security-focused cloud infrastructure.

The Role
* Act as the technical right-hand to the Head of DevOps
* AWS Services - CloudFormation, EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, ECS, CloudFront, CloudTrail, Inspector, SSM
* Containerization - Docker, Podman
* Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, HashiCorp Packer
* Message Queues - RabbitMQ
* Operating Systems - Windows, Linux
* Relational - MySQL, PostgreSQL
* NoSQL - DynamoDB, Couchbase
* Languages - Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript
* CI/CD Pipelines - Git, TeamCity, AWS CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeplo
The Person
* Must be a US citizen or Canadian green card holder!
* Strong AWS DevOps experience (older and newer version)
* Confident on the above technology
* Interested in AI and integrating it into an environment
* Linux and Windows experience
* SaaS industry experience
* Happy to work a 1 in 3 on-call rota on a 4 day biweekly working week!
