Director / VP of Formulation - Metalworking & Stamping Lubricants
Southeast Michigan (Relocation Assistance Available)
$200,000 - $250,000 - Salary flexible for the right candidate

This is a senior technical leadership position within a specialty industrial chemical manufacturer supporting metal forming and machining environments. The business operates a highly customized lubricant portfolio across a diverse customer base.
In this role, you will take responsibility for technical direction within the lubricant division while remaining closely involved in formulation, refinement, troubleshooting, and scale-up. The role includes oversight of a focused technical team and accountability for a broad range of active product variations.
You'll manage a range of active development projects, align priorities with Sales, and maintain structure across the formulation pipeline. The position carries real decision-making authority and direct influence over product performance in the field.

The Role:
- Lead development and scale-up of stamping and metalworking lubricants
- Oversee a wide range of active, customer-specific formulations

- Experience formulating stamping lubricants
- Background in metalworking fluids
- Proven track record bringing products successfully into production
- Comfortable leading while remaining hands-on
