Junior Electrical Draughtsperson
Newcastle
£22,000 - £28,000 + Progression + Training + Private Healthcare
Do you have any amount of prior experience producing electricals drawings and diagrams and want to rapidly kickstart your career with a supportive company that can offer you full support in your development while gaining access to valuable and specialist experience?
This company has been designing and manufacturing HV/LV packages and Controlgear for the last 30 years for clients across the UK. They're going through a sustainable growth period where they are looking to bring on junior members of the team and give them a platform to grow their skillset.
In this role you will be working alongside a team of Electrical Engineers to produce 2D electrical diagrams and schematics for mainly LV distribution equipment using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
The ideal candidate will have any amount of prior experience in producing electrical diagrams and drawings and will have demonstrable knowledge of SolidWorks or AutoCAD.

The Role:
- Producing 2D electrical diagrams and schematics using SolidWorks & AutoCAD
- Compiling parts lists, Bill or Materials and manufacturing packages
- Inputting into control panel design process
The Person
- Experience using AutoCAD/Solidworks to produce electrical designs/schematics
- Electrical Engineering qualification (desirable)
- Knowledge of LV distribution and Controlgear (desirable)
- Looking to gain specialist industry experience and interested in upskilling
