In this role you will train and mentor Electrical Installation learners up to Level 3, delivering engaging practical and classroom-based sessions while supporting apprentices throughout their training. You will help learners develop the skills, knowledge and confidence required to succeed in industry, while maintaining the high teaching standards the college is known for. The college will also fully support you in gaining your teaching qualification, making this a brilliant opportunity for experienced electricians who want to transition into education.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electrical Installation, hold NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, 18th Edition and AM2, and have a strong desire to come off the tools and move into an education-based role.

The Role
* Deliver classroom and workshop-based lessons in Electrical Installation
* Train and support apprentices and learners up to Level 3
* Mentor students to develop practical skills, knowledge and industry standards
* Mark assessments and track learner progress
* Support curriculum delivery including emerging technologies such as EV charging and renewable systems
The Person
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
* AM2 qualification
* Strong industry experience as a practicing electrician
* Motivated to move into teaching and develop the next generation of electricians
* Based within a commutable distance of Tamworth / Cannock
