An excellent opportunity for an Electromechanical Fitter from a manufacturing background who is looking for a varied role within a specialist company.
Do you have experience assembly, fitting and installing manufacturing machinery? Are you happy for regular travel around the UK?
This company specialise in logistics services for the manufacturing sector, working with a range of blue chip companies around the UK. They are currently going through a busy period after winning a number of contracts and are now looking for a Electromechanical Fitter to join their expert team.
In this role you will be travelling to customer sites around the UK, and be required to strip down and disassemble machinery and equipment before sending it off to a new destination. Once at the new site you be reassembling and commissioning the equipment ready for use. The role will involve regular stay aways, so you must be happy with this.
This role would therefore suit an individual with strong electromechanical assembly, fitting and installation skills who is looking for a new challenge and the chance to join a growing company.
The Role:
- Stripping down and re-assembling manufacturing machinery
- 70/30 split between site and workshop
- UK wide travel with regular stay aways
- £40,000 - £45,000 + Overtime + Benefits
The Person
- Electromechanical fitting/assembly and install experience
- Experienced with manufacturing machinery
- Happy with regular stay aways
- Commutable to Ilkeston area
