Engineering Manager (Custom Spaces)
$140,000 - $180,000 + Excellent Benefits Package + Career Progression + Excellent Training

Rare and exciting opportunity on offer for an ambitious Engineering Manager looking to work for an industry leading, rapidly expanding company where you will work on exciting custom projects whilst having an opportunity to progress to VP Level.
Are you an Engineering / Technical Manager with experience of working on bespoke, custom projects? Do you have strong people leadership experience? Do you have experience of overseeing the design through to manufacture of millwork products?
This highly prestigious and very well established family owned business are pushing boundaries within their very niche sector with innovative design solutions which places them at the forefront of their market. With over 300 staff and multiple sites across New York they have grown 40% over the past 4 years and have quickly become the leaders within their market. This represents an exciting time to join this business as they have some impressive growth plans in place and are therefore looking to recruit an Engineering Manager that will be directly mentored by an industry expert and subsequently developed to progress into becoming a Vice President in the future.
In this role you will be responsible for leading a team of 10 CAD Technicians, where you will oversee and coordinate the daily operations as well as being integral to developing growth strategies. You will work with multiple stakeholders as well as acting as the Project Manager for multiple projects, organizing collaborative meetings and ensuring project deadlines are met. You will be heavily involved in interviewing, hiring, and training new staff as well as involved in commercial negotiations for contracts and outside vendors. You will be solutions focused, working with the designers, installers and project engineers to overcome any issues that arise on site.
This role would therefore ideally suit an Engineering Manager with experience of working on custom projects using millwork who is looking to work on exciting projects for a company that will offer you the opportunity to work and learn from someone who is regarded as the best in the industry, an excellent working environment, and opportunities to progress to become a Vice President.

- Must have experience of any of the following; panel processing, woodworking, joinery, millwork, built in's, storage solutions, custom spaces, cabinetry, bespoke furniture
- Based in New York or looking to relocate to the area
