Are you a Mechanical Engineer from a HVAC / Plumbing background looking to move up into engineering manager, with the chance to manager your own team and shape your own high performing team, to contribute to the company's future success?
This well-established Mechanical Construction firm are one of the most exciting and largest Mechanical contractors in Massachusetts. They are a highly prestigious construction firm who specialize working on high value mechanical projects. Their employees have always been at the forefront of the business and have gotten an outstanding reputation for developing and progressing from within. Due to growth they are now looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop and work within their well-established construction team.
In this position you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of projects, ensuring work is completed on time, and in line with the company's high standards. You will be tasked with ensuring bids are submitted on time, meeting with subs and vendors and reviewing work code.
You will oversee a team of junior engineers to ensure the quality of their work. A primary function of this Senior role is the complete ability to take any size job from inception through project closeout. This will include understanding and/or developing the project's scope, fee, and schedule.
This would suit someone with a commercial HVAC / Plumbing background looking to further their career and progress into Directorship.
The Role:
* Work on MEP/HVAC systems for a range large projects
* Overseeing the team of engineers and ensure the quality of their project completion
* Use AutoCAD and Revit to create an adjust project drawings.
* Client Facing go to technical consultant
The Person:
* Experience as a mechanical engineer dealing with projects from start through to completion
* Previous experience in MEP/HVAC systems
* Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
