Epicor Support Analyst

Job description

Epicor Support Analyst
Rossendale - Hybrid
£38,000 - £45,000 + Holiday + Training + Progression + Pension

This is a great opportunity for someone with Epicor experience who wants to join a market-leading business that will provide on-the-job training and a clear framework to support long-term career progression.

This company is a well-established and growing organisation with a strong reputation for operational excellence and continuous improvement. They rely heavily on Epicor ERP to support manufacturing and distribution operations and are now looking to add a dedicated Epicor Support Analyst who can help the business get the very best out of the system. With structured training and clear progression, this role offers the opportunity to become a key ERP and process expert within the organisation while benefiting from an excellent overall package.

Within this role, you will act as the first point of contact for Epicor ERP support across all departments, resolving day-to-day user queries, troubleshooting system and process issues, and ensuring consistent and accurate use of Epicor. You will support reporting requirements using Epicor tools such as BAQs, dashboards and SSRS outputs, working closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver meaningful, reliable information. Continuous improvement is central to the role, identifying process gaps, improving system usage, and helping reduce repeat issues through better data, training, and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Epicor ERP (Kinetic) in a manufacturing or distribution environment, with a strong troubleshooting mindset and confidence working with users across the business. You will be comfortable working with data and reports, have good documentation skills, and be able to translate operational issues into clear system or process improvements. Experience with Epicor reporting tools, master data, and ticket-based support environments would be highly beneficial.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Epicor professional to broaden their ERP, reporting, and business-facing skills while progressing into a senior ERP or systems role within a supportive, forward-thinking company.

The Role:

  • Providing first-line support for Epicor ERP across all departments
  • Running, maintaining, and improving Epicor reports (BAQs, dashboards, SSRS, data extracts)
  • Troubleshooting system, process, data, and permissions-related issues
  • Supporting and improving core business processes such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory, and production reporting
  • Assisting with master data governance and data quality
  • Logging, managing, and resolving tickets in line with agreed SLAs
  • Office-based, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5:00pm

The Person:

  • Experience supporting Epicor ERP (Kinetic) in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Experience with Epicor reporting tools such as BAQs, dashboards, and SSRS
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
  • Confident communicating with users across operational and office-based teams
  • Comfortable working with data and Excel, with good documentation skills
  • Experience working in a ticket-based or SLA-driven support environment (desirable)
