This company are a niche steel frame construction company who offer a turnkey process, consistently create high quality builds. They work on an array of interesting commercial projects, ranging in size, scale, and value, they have seen huge success with their work over the last few years, as a result building a great name for themselves in the industry. This has led to fast growth of the business. Due to this expansion, and strong order book, they are looking for an Estimator to join their team to progress through the ranks.
In this office based role, reporting to the Managing Director, you will be working within the small Commercial team, amongst other Estimators. Your main job role will be to prepare and submit bids with the key objective of ensuring quotations are submitted on time, and are of high quality. You will take ownership of multiple tender submissions, working alongside your colleagues and other departments, ensuring you are achieving maximisation of profits. You will attend sub-contractor, pre-construction and client meetings so will have varied day to day responsibilities.
This role would therefore ideally suit someone with good commercial acumen and 2 to 3 years' experience working within the construction sector, with an understanding Estimating. You will have strong numeracy skills and your IT ability will be proficient in Excel. You will be an ambitious and enthusiastic individual who is a 'self-starer' and looking to progress and develop your career.
