Field Service Engineer (Generators/Diesel Engines)
£30,000 (OTE £35,000 with OT) + Door to door pay + Excellent Overtime + Company Van + Training + Company Benefits

Are you a Field Service Engineer looking for a role in which you can continue to develop your skills through internal and external training, whilst also having the opportunity to maximise your earnings through a generous overtime structure?
On offer is the chance to play a key role as part of a team of engineers who are considered specialists within the field. You will use your technical skills across a range of mechanical, electrical processes, including, fault finding, working on a variety engines and generator products. This is a varied role with the opportunity to travel to a variety of clients located in the West of Scotland.
The company are very well known for investing in the career development of their staff and offer internal and external training with OEMs. The business experiences continual growth and as part of their planned expansion, they are now looking to expand their engineering team within Scotland.
This role would suit an Engineer with experience in working on transmissions, generators and/or diesel engines looking for a varied field service role within a company who can provide training and the opportunity to increase earnings through overtime.
The Role:
- Field based service engineer carrying out both preventative and remedial maintenance to a variety of transmission, engine, generator and axle products in workshop and customer sites
- Diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults
- Internal and external training with OEMs.
- Planned progression route to get to Senior earning up to £36k basic
- Door to door pay, 39hrs a week core hours 8am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday, 3:30pm finish on Friday. Overtime 1.5 weekdays, 2x weekends
The Person:
- Confident in carrying out routine and remedial repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Experience of working on Detroit Diesel, JCB, Volvo, MTU or Allison Transmissions highly advantageous
- Electrical and/or Mechanical qualification desirable
