Field Service Engineer (REME / Plant)
£35,500 - £38,000 + Company Vehicle + Monday to Friday + Local Patch + No Weekends
Central Belt of Scotland, Ideally based around: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Livingston, Falkirk, Stirling, Cumbernauld

Are you a Field Service Engineer from a Plant, Vehicle, Forklift or REME background looking for a stable, days based role with a local patch and a good work life balance?
This is a great opportunity to join a small, well established business within the forklift and materials handling industry. You will receive hands on training on their equipment and work as part of a close knit team where engineers are genuinely valued, not just a number.
In this role, you will carry out the service, maintenance and installation of a range of modern materials handling equipment for a loyal customer base across the Central Belt. The role is home based, covering a local patch, with occasional travel to the company workshop.
The company has built a strong reputation through quality service and long term customer relationships and is now looking to bring an additional engineer into the team as part of their continued growth.
The Role
- Service, maintenance and installation of materials handling equipment
- Local field based role across the Central Belt
- Monday to Friday, days based
- No weekend work
The Person
- Field Service Engineer or similar background
- Ex Forces encouraged to apply
- Experience in plant, vehicles, forklifts, construction equipment or ex forces REME
- Full UK driving licence
- Looking for long term stability within a small, supportive business
