Field Service Technician (Power Systems)
$28 - $30/hr + Medical + Dental + Vision + Disability + 401(k) + 1.5x Overtime + International Travel + Company Van + PTO
Fort Lauderdale, FL - onsite + 75% travel (½ local travel, ½ travel to exotic places in the Caribbean and South America)

This is an incredible opportunity for someone who wants to develop their technical skills in power systems. You will receive excellent hands-on training directly from the Technical Manager and will shadow experienced technicians to build your skills and knowledge.
The company specializes in power conversion, designing and manufacturing high-performance products for the marine and aviation sectors, including military and defense applications. The Ft. Lauderdale location focuses on the marine space, high-end yachts in particular.
In this role, you will service frequency and power systems equipment used in billion-dollar yachts. You will troubleshoot issues, carry out service tasks, make recommendations, and follow through on service requests to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

The Role:
- Travel to and from customer sites, working with management and support staff to arrange logistics; ensure all necessary parts are prepared and communicate with the department manager while in the field
- Perform troubleshooting, start-up, and repairs on units both in the field and at the factory
- Provide customer training on the safe operation and maintenance of equipment
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, especially regarding service needs or required modifications
The Person:
- AAS in Electrical / Electronics or similar trade school or military training
- Electrical experience with Power Systems
- MUST be able to work overtime and travel 75% internationally (½ local travel, ½ travel to exotic places in the Caribbean and South America)
- Must have driver's license and U.S. Passport
