Harvesting Manager - Production / Operations (Food/ fresh Produce)
£50,000 + Training & Development + Progression + Flexible days (to include 1 weekend day) + Holiday + Pension
East Yorkshire - commutable from Hull, York, Market Weighton, Selby, Goole, Doncaster

In this role you will be using your leadership, planning & people skills to ensure harvesting runs as efficiently & smoothly as possible. Duties will include distribution and organization of staff, championing health and safety standards and ensuring Supervisor competencies . For this reason, the ideal candidates will be from a Food Production / Manufacturing /Operations or farm management background and will be great communicators and competent in leading teams from the front to produce exceptional results.
There is excellent industry specific training so candidates from any fresh produce / food production / operations / management background are encouraged to apply.

The Role:
*Harvesting Manager
*Management of staff
*Maximizing efficient harvesting
*Monitoring Health & Safety
*Training & development or supervisors and staff
The Person:
*Previous Supervisory / Management experience within a fresh produce / production environment (harvesting, Technical fresh product management )
*Analytical with the ability to champion industry best practices, a food safety culture and ensuring legislation and company policies are adhered to
* A strong, target driven leader with great planning communication skills who is passionate about driving teams forward through company growth and able to motivate workforce through efficient harvesting activities
