HSE Manager - Manufacturing

£45,000 to £48,000 (Negotiable) + Progression + Early Friday Finish + Benefits

Rochdale, Greater Manchester (Commutable from: Manchester, Bolton, Huddersfield, Blackburn, Oldham)

Are you a HSE Manager, from a manufacturing background, looking to join a leading company, where you play a pivotal role in managing HSE culture across the business and have a real impact on how they move forward?

This is fantastic opportunity to join an established business, where you will be recognised as the go to authority for H&S, whilst helping the company move forward with its environmental standards.

This company are a leading manufacturer for the Northwest, supplying tier one companies with crucial components for large scale production. Due to a long-standing employee retiring, they are now looking for a HSE Manager in a permanent role.

In this role you will oversee the companies HSE culture and standards, developing and improving existing systems, auditing the company site and looking to upgrade the company's environmental systems.

The role would suit a HSE manager / professional, from an SME background, looking to join a leading company and have a real impact on the business.

The Role:

  • HSE Manager
  • Oversee HSE standards / systems
  • Implement new working practices
  • Provide training to all staff
  • Help upgrade environmental systems

The Person:

  • HSE background
  • Experience within manufacturing / industrial environment
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 / 14001
  • Full UK driving license.
