Inside Sales Specialist - Maritime Automation Provider

I am representing a global provider of automation and sensor systems for the maritime industry. Established almost 100 years ago, they design, engineer and commission control and propulsion systems used worldwide. Due to continued growth, they are hiring a new Inside Sales Specialist to join their team at their Rostock site.
In this role, you will work closely with existing and inbound customers to provide quotations, manage orders, coordinate logistics, and maintain strong communication between internal teams and clients. They pride themselves on a supportive environment where people stay long term and develop into new roles.
The successful candidate will be fluent in German and English, have experience in a commercial, technical or customer-facing role, and ideally come from automation, maritime or a comparable industry. Full product and system training is provided.
You'll be joining a passionate, close-knit team in a non-corporate environment with stable growth, innovative products and excellent development opportunities.
The Role:
* Preparing quotations and technical offers based on customer specifications
* Managing inbound enquiries and warm customer communication
* Handling orders and coordinating with shipping and export teams
* Supporting customers through the full order cycle
* General administration and complaint handling
* Working on-site in Rostock with 1:1 product training
The Candidate:
* Experience in sales support, customer service, inside sales or technical coordination
* Fluent in German and English
* Background or interest in automation, maritime, engineering or similar
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Open to learning tax processes and product knowledge
