A rare and exciting opportunity for a Mechanical and Electrical expert to join a thriving contractor working on variety of high value refurbishment projects in a progressive role where you will hold a managerial position paired with the autonomy to make it your own.

This reputable design and build refurbishment Contractor specialise the high quality refurbishment of prominently student accommodation and hotel projects across the. Having thrived since being established this company have a clear 5 year growth plan to double turnover and therefore are currently looking to streamline their processing being in an in house M & E Manager to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
This is a great opportunity for an ambitious individual with a strong Mechanical and Electrical background to join a brand new role within the business alongside a clear progression path to directorship.
In this role you will be responsible for ensuring that the Mechanical and Electrical components of projects are well-coordinated, meet quality standards, and are completed within budget and to schedule constraints. Your role will consist of pre-construction duties such as collaborating with M&E Consultants to ensure precision and practicality in drawings. As well as Construction duties including overseeing the M&E Contractor to ensure precise installation in accordance with the approved drawings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Electrical and Mechanical background, you have a strong understanding of Mechanical and Electrical drawings in relation to refurbishment projects looking to take on a more senior role within a growing business and progress through the ranks to director level.
The Role:
- Managing the M&E design and installation
- Liaising with external M&E Consultants ensuring drawings are accurate
- Managing the M&E sub contractors
- Making sure installations are to drawings, quality standards and compliant
The Person
- Mechanical or Electrical qualification
- Experience working on Construction Projects
- Knowledge of liaising with M&E Consultants and overseeing contractors
- Full UK Driving License
