Maintenance Electrician
Site based, Birmingham
£37,400 per annum, OTE £50,000 and above + Plenty of Overtime + No shift work + Early Finish on Fridays + 33 Days Holiday inc Bank Holidays
Are you a qualified Electrician looking to join a busy depot with a leading UK hire company, who offer opportunities for training and career development?
The company are well established within the hire industry, working with multiple blue chip clients. Due to growth within their brand new site, they are looking for an experienced electrician to join the team.
This role would suit a Maintenance Electrician with experience working on industrial electrical systems, who is looking for a supportive company with career development and the chance to work across a wide range of equipment.
The Role:
- Carry out pre-hire inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical distribution boards, AMF panels, and cabling, diagnose faults and establish requirements for repair, repair damaged equipment upon return to depot, ensuring it meets company standards
- Ad-hoc electrical tasks around the depot
- Occasional travel to other depots for servicing or repairs
- Normal working week Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 15:30.
- Overtime: Monday to Thursday: 1.5x 06:00 - 08:00 then 16:30 - 00:00. Friday: 15:30 - 00:00. 2x 00:00 - 06:00. Saturday: 1.5x 06:00 - 12:00 and 2x 00:00 - 06:00 & 12:00 - 00:00. Sunday: 2x all day.
The Person:
- 18th Edition qualified Electrician
- Experience in industrial maintenance
- Understanding or experience of the hire industry
- ECS Card preferred but not essential
- Forklift license preferred
- Good IT skills
