£18.20 per hour + 22% shift allowance + Rotating 2-week shift pattern (Earlier + Lates) + Training & Development, Company Pension, Bonus Scheme

Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company during an exciting period of growth, taking on a key role in ensuring reliability, safety, and the continuous improvement of a world-class production facility.

On offer is a hands-on position where you will play a critical role in supporting equipment availability, preventing downtime, and maintaining high engineering standards within an innovative and fast-paced environment.

This company operates a highly specialised site with modern machinery and automated systems. They are now looking for a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to support ongoing operational performance and contribute to the development of a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operation.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include conducting planned and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, improving equipment reliability, supporting new installations, and ensuring all work meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Two-week rotating shift pattern: Week 1: Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm, Friday 6am-1pm, Week 2: Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm, Friday 1pm-8pm.

The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical qualification (or equivalent), with strong experience in mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis. Experience with plastics, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics or PLCs is highly desirable.

The Role:
* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring accurate recording of trends and actions
* Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and support breakdown resolution
* Install, modify, calibrate and maintain plant equipment safely and effectively
* Support reliability improvements, liaise with internal teams, and maintain a clean/safe work environment

The Person:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical (17th Edition desirable) with strong mechanical & electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience with robotics, plastics (injection/extrusion), presses, rolling mills, PLC I/O, hydraulics & pneumatics
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, work under pressure, and manage varied workloads
* Proactive, motivated, safety-conscious, with strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
