An exceptional opportunity for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join a rapidly growing OEM manufacturer at a pivotal stage of its development. As the business expands production capabilities and brings more assembly operations in-house, this is a newly created, strategic role offering significant scope to shape manufacturing processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

You'll be at the heart of production operations, optimizing processes, implementing preventative maintenance programs, improving workflow, and ensuring products reach customers efficiently and reliably.

In this role, you'll have ownership of key manufacturing processes, driving efficiency across multiple production cells, improving output, and minimizing downtime. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, purchasing, and customer service - to ensure smooth operations and deliver high-quality products on time.

This role will suit an experienced manufacturing professional with a background in mechanical or process engineering, strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, and a passion for improving production flow. Experience with hydraulics, OEM assembly, or fluid systems is highly desirable but not essential.

The Role:

  • Manage and optimize manufacturing processes across multiple production areas
  • Lead production meetings, monitor capacity and workload, and drive process efficiency
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow and on-time delivery
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose data-led process improvements


The Person:

  • Experienced Manufacturing Engineer or Mechanical Engineer with a background in production or process improvement
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and production flow optimization
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and suggest process changes
  • Hands-on approach with a problem-solving mindset and focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience in hydraulics, OEM assembly, or fluid systems is advantageous but not required
