Marine Rigging & Motor Technician
$30/hr - $35/hr + Overtime + 401k + Medical + Dental + Vision
Pompano Beach, Florida (Commutable from Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Palm City)
Are you a Marine Technician with hands-on experience in boat rigging and motor installation, looking to work on custom-built vessels in a modern facility where precision, craftsmanship, and quality are at the forefront?
This is a great opportunity to join a growing marine manufacturer known for producing high-end, bespoke boats. You'll be involved in the final stages of each build, ensuring motors, steering, controls, and rigging systems are installed, aligned, and ready for delivery.
The business invests heavily in its technicians, offering structured training and long-term progression opportunities. You'll become part of a collaborative team where your attention to detail directly impacts the performance, safety, and finish of every vessel.
In this role, you will be responsible for rigging outboards and inboard motors, installing steering systems, throttles, shift controls, cables, and hydraulic components. You will also support testing and sea trials, ensuring all mechanical and control systems operate smoothly.
This role would suit a Rigging Technician or Marine Technician with strong experience in motor installation and boat rigging, who enjoys working on custom projects rather than routine service work.
The Role:
- Motor installation, rigging & system setup on bespoke vessels
- Training provided to expand technical rigging expertise
- Working closely with production and quality teams
The Candidate:
- Experience with marine rigging and motor installation
- Background in boatbuilding or marine production environments
- Pride in precision, finish, and build quality
