Mechanical Service Engineer (Full Training into Plant)
£35,000 - £50,000 + Van + Phone + Fuel Card + Full Technical Training
Workshop and Field based in Avonmouth, commutable from Bristol and surrounding areas.
Are you a Mechanical Engineer, Ex Forces Engineer, Plant Fitter or similar looking to join a specialist engineering company who offer full OEM Training opportunities where you will increase your earnings through optional overtime whilst playing a vital role in the companies success?
This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer where you will be fully trained on plant machinery to become a task expert, where you will increase your earnings through overtime whilst working as part of a small close knit team and rarely stay away.
This small family firm specialise in the hire of plant machinery throughout the south of the UK and have been established since 2001; they currently employ seven team members.
The workplace is based within a modern workshop in Avonmouth, but you'll be required to attend to machinery at other worksites approximately 40% of the time. This is strictly Monday - Friday employment, you will never be expected to work weekends.
This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer who is looking to be valued within a small team of experts whilst maintaining a good work life balance.
The Role:
* Day-to-day maintenance, servicing and repairing of heavy machinery and other associated equipment.
* Fault-finding and welding.
* Full Dealership and OEM Training on Plant Equipment
The Candidate:
* Holds UK Driving Licence
* Has a mechanical engineering background
