Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC)
Immediate Start - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract
£40-£60 per hour, Inside IR35, 38 Hours per Week - Mon-Fri
Commutable from: Worcester, Droitwich Spa, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, South Birmingham, Solihull, Redditch, Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, Tewkesbury, Bromyard, Leominster

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in HVAC, available for an immediate contract role, working 38 hours per week, Monday-Friday?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global market-leader, renowned for innovation and high-value engineering projects across the UK and Europe. You will be contributing to the design of bespoke HVAC systems and plantroom mechanical components, and ensuring BOMs & all technical documentation are accurate and fully controlled.

You will manage engineering drawing revision control, support 2D/3D design in SolidWorks, liaise with internal stakeholders and customers, and ensure seamless collaboration between design and production teams, playing a key role in process modifications and lean manufacturing.

This role suits a Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong HVAC background, immediately available for a contract position.

The Role

  • Designing HVAC systems and mechanical components in 2D & 3D (SolidWorks)
  • Ensuring BOMs & all technical documentation are accurate and controlled
  • Manage engineering drawing revision control and process modifications

The Person

  • Mechanical Design Engineer
  • Strong experience in HVAC system design or mechanical building services.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks (3D & 2D) and immediately available for a contract role
