This company are an interdisciplinary building design consultancy who currently work predominantly in the education sector, but are looking to expand into residential and commercial works. This company pride themselves on internal career progression with past graduates now holding partner roles. They are moving from strength to strength with steady business and are continually growing their client base.

In this role you will be carrying out site work across the south east as necessary. The building design and services work will be diverse and changing, across the educational sector. This role is largely facilities management related and will be autonomous with hybrid working and the ability to manage your own workload, with support from the wider team.

The ideal candidate will be a driven individual who has worked in a similar role and has a good understanding of building services and facilities management. This role offers great scope to become a mentor to others and progress to managing and partner roles.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a mechanical engineer looking to further their career, in the building services sector while having the chance to work broad and varied projects.

The role:

  • Undertake various mechanical assessments and implement solutions accordingly.
  • Efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously, varying in size, value and complexity.
  • Liaising with and managing client and external stakeholder relationships.

The person:

  • Relevant mechanical engineering degree
  • Good knowledge of building and facility services engineering
  • Previous experience in similar role in educational sector
