In this role you will use your hands on mechanical experience to teach and support learners on Motor Vehicle and Light Vehicle Maintenance courses, helping them build the practical skills and theoretical knowledge needed for a successful career in the automotive industry. You will also help prepare lesson plans, develop learning materials and ensure students remain engaged while achieving the aims of each session. Full training and support will be provided to help you develop as a lecturer.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the automotive trade such as a mechanic, technician or vehicle fitter and hold a Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent. Teaching experience is not required as the college will support you in gaining a teaching qualification while you work.

The Role
* Full teacher training and CPD provided
* Support students throughout their Motor Vehicle qualifications
* Prepare lesson plans and learning resources to support teaching delivery
* Monday to Friday 37 hours per week

The Person
* Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
* Strong background in the automotive or vehicle maintenance sector
* Passionate about mentoring and supporting future technicians
* Hard working, enthusiastic and eager to develop teaching skills
