Up to £43,000 + £4,000 Scarce Skills Joining Bonus + Excellent Pension + Generous Holiday Allowance

This forward-thinking and well-established college is expanding its Construction provision and is looking to strengthen its Plumbing team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to both apprentices and full-time students across Levels 1-3 Plumbing and Heating. You will play a key role in motivating learners, supporting their progress, and helping them develop the technical and employability skills needed to succeed in industry.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a plumber looking to come off the tools and move into education, with full training and teaching qualification support provided if you do not already hold one.


The Role:

  • Full training and teaching qualification support provided

  • Delivering engaging plumbing and heating lessons in workshops and classrooms

  • Teaching and assessing learners across Levels 1-3

  • Supporting learner progress, attendance, and achievement

  • Working closely with colleagues and employer partners

  • Contributing to open days, enrolment, and course promotion

  • Excellent work-life balance and outstanding benefits


The Person:

  • Industry experience as a plumber or heating engineer

  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent)

  • Passion for developing and inspiring learners

  • Strong communication and organisational skills

  • Willingness to complete a teaching qualification (if not already held)

  • Committed to safeguarding, equality, and student wellbeing
