Software Development Project Lead- Automotive
Munich (Hybrid)

Excellent opportunity for a Software Project Manager within the Automotive industry, who is passionate about working with many different clients and providing specialized consulting services in software development.
The company is a leading international company with their core competency in automotive software, with decades of cumulative years of experience in the field we are able to provide our customers the required technical expertise to overcome the increasingly challenging and demanding projects.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Software Development Project Lead from the Automotive industry, with proven skills using AutoSar, experience in agile methodologies and software development best practices. Also, you will have experience leading multiple projects, with ability to priorities and work under pressure.
This is a unique opportunity to be one of the first hires within the German market as part of their global expansion.
The role:
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.
- Lead sprint planning activities, collaborating with the customer and internal stakeholders to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and task estimates.
- Distribute the agreed-upon sprint plan to the team lead, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Manage the project throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead and motivate the development team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders, including customers, team members, and management.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, suppliers, and program managers to resolve technical challenges and ensure project alignment.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive software trends and technologies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
The person:
- Successful completed a Bachelors or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years' experience leading software development projects ideally with the automotive industry.
- Excellent knowledge of AUTOSAR or other automotive software development tools.
- Proven experience in agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Fluent English and C1 German, both in writing and speaking.
