Quantity Surveyor
Alderley Edge (Office & Site Based - North West)
£50,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Pension
Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a background in commercial fit-out, looking for a stable role within a busy contractor delivering a strong pipeline of projects across the North West?
Excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established commercial, industrial, and retail construction and fit-out contractor. The business offers long-term security, varied workloads, and consistent project flow.
This role offers genuine autonomy, responsibility, and exposure to the full commercial lifecycle of projects. Suited to a commercially astute QS who enjoys a hands-on role and contributing beyond traditional surveying duties.
This is a great opportunity to work in a small, close-knit commercial team, taking ownership of projects from inception to completion while benefiting from a stable workload and locally based projects.
The Role:
* Commercial management of commercial fit-out projects from pre-contract through to final account
* Procurement of subcontractors and materials
* Preparing and agreeing valuations, variations, and cost reports
* Supporting project delivery teams with strong commercial oversight
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
The Person:
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or equivalent experience
* Experience within commercial fit-out or refurbishment
* Confident managing projects independently from procurement to final account
* Full UK driving license
