Quantity Surveyor
£50,000-£70,000 + Company Car Allowance + Progression + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to play a key role in a small but well-established contractor? Are you seeking variety in your projects and the opportunity to step up into a senior position?
This company is a reputable commercial main contractor delivering new build projects across the UK, typically ranging from £8m-£15m in value. The company are now entering a period of strategic growth and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to help drive this expansion.
Based in Wakefield, you'll typically be expected to travel to site at least twice a month, mainly to projects in Greater London / surrounding counties, with occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
You'll oversee 1-2 live projects, managing all commercial and contractual responsibilities. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll produce cost reports, valuations, reconciliations and forecasts, as well as administering subcontract valuations and payments - ensuring robust financial and project performance.

The Role:
- Quantity Surveyor
- Working on new build care home projects valued up to £15M
- Managing cost control and commercial aspects from concept to completion
- Office based in Wakefield with occasional travel to Greater London / surrounding counties
The Person:
- Experienced Quantity Surveyor from the residential or commercial construction sector
- Keen to work on high-value new build projects
- Commutable to Wakefield, West Yorkshire
- Looking for autonomy, progression, and project ownership
- Full UK Driving Licence
