Hybrid Working - Commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Doncaster, Sheffield

After strong investment secured in 2025, they have tripled in headcount and made significant progress in the development of cutting-edge sites. They are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their passionate team of industry experts to fuel future success.

In this role, the successful candidate will manage the commercial lifecycle of projects by ensuring accurate cost planning, leading contract negotiations, and mitigating risks. This role involves conducting on-site estimations and implementing new financial systems to drive efficiency. You will handle a diverse workload with autonomy, balancing technical cost analysis with strategic partner management.

This role would suit a Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager with a strong understanding of the UK construction sector and knowledge of JCT contracts. You will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit with a proactive and adaptable approach to work. Experience working on electrical or EV infrastructure is desirable but not essential.

The Role:

  • Take ownership of the commercial lifecycle of projects, ensuring accurate cost planning and management
  • Lead contract negotiations with construction partners
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks
  • Attend site visits to carry out estimations and cost analysis
  • Implement new systems to manage project finances efficiently
  • Manage a diverse workload
  • Hybrid working model: 3 days office based, 2 days WFH. Site visits roughly 2-4 times a month, locations across the UK.


The Person:

  • Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager
  • Strong background within the UK construction industry
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts (ideally NEC as well)
  • Experience within electrical or EV charging infrastructure is highly desirable
  • Flexible to travel UK wide for weekly / bi-weekly site and client visits
