With multiple state-of-the-art facilities across the US and a strong track record of growth, including recent acquisitions, they are now seeking an R&D Manager to lead innovation at a cutting-edge facility, develop new products, improve existing ones, and drive cost efficiencies.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a small team of food scientists, collaborating closely with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to drive new product launches from concept through commercialization. You will also partner with Manufacturing on continuous improvement initiatives to discover new ways to increase profitability by improving product performance and packaging, and have the opportunity to build and grow your own team.
This role would suit someone from a food industry background with R&D experience who is looking to step into a management role and lead new product launches at a world-class company.
The Role:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of food scientists across multiple innovation projects, including new product launches and improvements to existing products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing, to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure all products comply with food regulatory standards.
The Person:
- Experience leading innovation projects on both new and existing food products.
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leader of technical teams with strong knowledge of food processing and food safety.
