Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
$110,000-$140,000 + Full Benefits + PTO + Training + Progression

You will lead mechanical design and architecture from concept through production, oversee validation and analysis, drive manufacturing integration, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role would suit a hands-on, technically driven engineer looking to take a senior lead position, mentor others, and work on groundbreaking solar technology with real-world impact.
The Role:
- Lead mechanical design of solar modules, tooling, and manufacturing processes, with ownership from concept to production
- Perform and review FEA, thermal analysis, and mechanical validation to ensure product reliability and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and establish engineering standards, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team
- Work closely with manufacturing to support pilot production, troubleshoot, and implement design improvements
The Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Mechanical design experience in product development or advanced manufacturing
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or Fusion 360 desirable) and experience with FEA and thermal analysis
