Mechanical Design Engineer (Aviation)

You will also play a key role in launching a brand-new prototyping and test facility, taking early-stage designs through prototype builds, testing, and refinement.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with experience in a fast-paced, startup environment and wants to work alongside top performers on exciting, meaningful projects.
The Role:
- Lead prototype and first-article builds of new hardware products
- Collaborate closely with design and manufacturing teams to bring concepts to life
- Take on hands-on responsibilities including CAD revisions, GD&T, drawings, and BOMs
- Support the build-out and optimization of a new prototyping and testing facility
- Troubleshoot, test, and refine early-stage hardware
The Person:
- Background in mechanical design engineering
- Strong hands-on build, testing, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience within a high-growth, startup environment
- Aviation/aerospace industry background
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
