This well-established company specialise in the design & manufacture of pressure vessels for a range of industries and are backed by a reputation for engineering excellence and a strong pipeline of projects. As an international manufacturer , they are experts in their field and as such have an excellent reputation with their global client base. Due to continued expansion & exciting projects in the pipeline they are now looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their passionate & dedicated teams on a permanent basis.
This is a senior, hands on NPI Quality Engineer role in a regulated, high-integrity manufacturing environment with a strong nuclear and safety focus. The role owns quality delivery across New Product Introduction and major projects, ensuring compliant, fully traceable products are delivered right first time from early development through to volume production & requires direct leadership of APQP, PPAP, and NPI quality activities. This role is critical to safety, accreditation, and delivery performance. Depth of experience and proven ownership are essential.

The Role
* Lead quality activities across NPI and major projects
* Act as the quality authority within cross-functional project teams
* Drive APQP deliverables from feasibility through volume production
* Own PPAP submission readiness and customer approval
* Protect accreditation, safety, and compliance through disciplined execution
* Non-conformance investigation, containment, and corrective action
* Internal, external, and supplier audits
The Person
- Senior Quality Engineer with strong knowledge of APQP +PPAP and NPI quality delivery from prototype to volume production
- Background in nuclear, defence, aerospace, pressure equipment, automotive or similar regulated sectors
- Practical experience with: FMEA, MSA, SPC, capability studies, Statistical analysis and validation methods, traceability, material certification, welding, NDE, or coatings
- A confident and vibrant individual with excellent communication capabilities
