In this role, you'll own test strategy, build automation frameworks, and integrate them into CI/CD to ensure system reliability. You'll also drive root-cause analysis, support simulations, and mentor teams on quality best practices.

The Role:
- Own test strategy and define layered test plans (unit, integration, system, E2E) across services, devices, and production systems.
- Build and maintain Go/Java test suites, frameworks, and reusable tools for SITL/HITL environments.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enforce quality at every stage
- Lead integration events, track results, and turn failures into clear, actionable tasks.
- Set up and operate simulations and physical rigs; monitor systems and apply safe runtime fixes.

The Person:
- Experience building tests and frameworks for complex systems involving services, devices, and industrial automation
- Proficient in Go, Java, or Rust, with strong knowledge of GitHub workflows, Jira, Docker, and modern CI pipelines
- Hands-on with SITL/HITL testing, emulators, or simulation tools for robotics or industrial systems.
- Skilled at triaging critical issues in production-like environments and translating them into engineering actions.
- Ability to work in Dallas, TX - Hybrid 3 days a week onsite (Or based in San Jose, CA and can travel to Dallas 1 week per month with expenses covered)
