You will be working closely with the Chief Engineer, shaping the fundamentals of the Software that makes up these innovative devices. Working on-site in Solon, OH, you will have the opportunity to be immersed in the future of X-ray imaging!
The role:
* Work closely with the Chief Engineer to develop and maintain robust data pipeline communication systems for data acquisition, calibration, and reconstruction using C++, Intel IPP, and NVIDIA CUDA.
* Craft user interface modules within a Computed Tomography (CT) scanner framework utilizing C#.
* Design and implement sophisticated multi-layer software architectures.
* Creating diagnostic tools in MATLAB and Python for data analysis and CT scanner simulations.
* Architecting cross-platform (Windows and Linux) configuration management and logging libraries with C++.
The person:
* In depth experience with CT scanner systems is a must
* Proficient in implementing algorithms in C and C++, optimized for performance and multi-threading, using Boost and Intel IPP libraries.
* Familiarity with ISO and IEC standards for Class II medical devices.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of engineers in electrical, computer science, and imaging physics to enhance CT scanner systems.
