Smart Metering Technical Project Manager
Based anywhere in England with nationwide travel
£50,000 - £55,000 + Training + Career Progression + Excellent Company Benefits
Do you have experience working on projects within smart metering, IoT, and building technologies and are looking for a role that combines hands-on technical work with leadership and project delivery?

You'll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery, from survey and design through to installation, commissioning, and integration of intelligent metering and data systems.

This position would suit somebody from a tech/networking background with experience in the built environment looking for an exciting new opportunity.
The Role
- Manage full project lifecycles for smart metering, IoT, and data integration systems-from survey through to commissioning and client handover.
- Configure IT and network systems for seamless device-to-cloud integration using standard smart building protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT).
- Lead project delivery teams, including subcontractors and junior engineers, ensuring high-quality standards and client satisfaction.
The Person
- Experience experience in smart metering, IoT systems integration, or building technology projects
- Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, LoRaWAN, and NB-IoT protocols.
- Confident configuring IT systems and cloud-based data integrations.
- Willing to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas as required.
