Systems Engineer (Satellite Communications)
Barsbüttel, Germany - Permanent Employee, Full-Time, Remote
€60,000 - €80,000
Excellent opportunity for a Systems Engineer to join a future-forward, global satellite telecommunications company in Hamburg.
You will be working within an office of 50 employees in Hamburg (with 100s more worldwide), collaborating internationally with staff in the UK and around the rest of Continental Europe! They provide high quality engineering solutions that not only meet current needs but adapt to technological landscape changes with a future-thinking approach.
In this role, you will be developing communication system solutions, supporting the production and leading the configuration and commissioning. You will be responsible for technical clarification, coordinating with both customers and suppliers. Furthermore, you will carry out examinations, verifications, technical inquires and documentation.
The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and experience in designing electronic systems. You will have basic IT skills and are confident in Microsoft Office. Fluent German proficiency is essential, with professional English preferred.

The Role:
- On-site with occasional travel (every 1-2 months)
- System design and engineering of customer-specific communication system solutions
- Take over the configuration and commissioning of systems
- Coordinate between customers and suppliers
- Carry out examinations, functional verifications, documentation and training materials
The Person:
- Background in electrical engineering
- Technical degree or comparable qualification
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic IT skills
- Fluent German proficiency
- Professional English proficiency
