The company is a specialist in its field, offering market-leading chemical water treatment services across Europe. As they look to expand their continental client base, they are seeking an ambitious Technical Sales Manager/Engineer who can establish a presence in Denmark and play a key role in achieving their 2026 goals.
This is a home-based position where you will be tasked with identifying and targeting new business opportunities to drive growth within the chemical water treatment market. You will engage directly with clients to provide technical solutions tailored to their needs, while simultaneously developing and maintaining long-term professional relationships. This role requires regular travel within Denmark.
The ideal candidate will possess a chemistry or chemical engineering degree, a strong background working in the Danish water treatment market and keen to drive new business opportunities as you will be launching a new country.
You must be fully autonomous and self-sufficient, comfortable working independently from home or at client sites, as the company does not currently maintain a physical office in Denmark.
The Role
Performing new business sales and business development initiatives.
Managing and building a portfolio in the Danish chemical water treatment market (new and existing business).
Developing your own sales strategy and generating leads.
Home-based with regular client visits.
Covering the whole of Denmark
The Person
Proven background in Business Development / Technical Sales.
Must have a strong understanding of chemicals, chemistry, or chemical processes.
A demonstrable track record of selling chemicals or chemical water treatment products to industry.
Extensive experience within the Danish water industry and a network of established contacts.
Located anywhere in Denmark.
