Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Technician
£25,000 - £30,000 + Full Training + Progression + Company Benefits
Rushden, Northamptonshire (Commutable from: Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Bedford, and Huntingdon)
Are you looking to kickstart your career within Mechanical Engineering and receive full training to become a technical specialist?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in Engineering to become an expert within the field, working on a range of equipment involving Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulics.
The company specialises in the design and manufacture of equipment used across a range of industries. Their equipment has been used for a variety of high profile construction projects worldwide, and due to their continued success, they are now expanding their team.
You will be workshop based Monday to Friday, and there may also be opportunities to travel overseas in future to support with projects.
The position would suit a motivated individual, looking for a hands on and varied role within the engineering field, where you can continue progressing and developing your skillset.
The Role:
- Service and maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic equipment
- Assisting with on and off site support
- Monday to Friday, workshop based role
- Full training provided (Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulics)
- Opportunities for you to progress and travel overseas
The Person:
- Keen interest to progress within the Mechanical Engineering industry
- Looking for lots of training and development
- Any experience within the following would be advantageous: Construction, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics
- Willing to travel overseas occasionally in the future
- Full UK driving licence
