This reputable business specialise in the supply of quarried aggregates and heavy building materials to all areas of the construction industry including groundworkers, major housebuilders and civil contractors to name a few. Due to their brilliant levels of customer service, industry relationships and strong commercial acumen they are regarded as the number one supplier in the industry. Now they are looking to recruit an adaptable Transport Planner into the team.
In this role you will be based from the Bristol office in a close knit team offering a huge amount of support from operational, commercial and procurement perspectives. You will be responsible for coordinating and planning deliveries to various repeat clients across the South West region. This includes liaising with quarries, fleet and subcontractors as well as notifying and updating customers regarding all deliveries. Your objective will be to successfully deliver all orders to clients whilst maximising margins and earnings.
This role is suited to a professional who is confident, personable and adaptable with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships whilst being highly organised. Logistic or Planning backgrounds are advantageous but equally this opportunity is open to anyone who can learn quickly with the right character.
